How does the ordering process work?

Ordering is as easy as 1, 2, 3...

• Place your order online using our order form.
• When we are notified of your order, you will receive an email confirmation.
• Bring your confirmation receipt and ID to our booths located at the Jenny Craig Pavilion courtyard on Graduation Day to pick up your lei.

Where and when do I pick up the lei?

We will be located in booths in the courtyard of the Jenny Craig Pavillion.  (See map)  We will be on site from as early as two hours prior to the graduation ceremony.

What kind of flower are the leis made of?

The leis are constructed of Denbrobium orchids from Thailand.  Our orchids are nursery grown and cultivated utilizing environmentally friendly methods.

How long will they last?

They will last for many days with proper care.  If refrigerated in between uses, the leis can be worn many times.

Will they be fresh?

YES, as fresh as they can be.  They are ordered specifically for this event, flown in from Thailand only days before the event.  When you get your lei, it will be the first time it will have been taken from it’s original packaging!

What do I need to bring to pickup my pre-ordered lei?

If you order on line, you will receive an emailed confirmation.  You will need to bring your confirmation information and a picture ID.

What if I need someone to pick up the lei for me?

That’s fine too!  As long as they have your confirmation receipt and your ID.

Who is Posies Flowers?

Posies Flowers has been the only authorized flower and lei vendor for SDSU Commencement Weekend since 1992.  For 2008, we are proud to announce that we will be providing leis for the University of San Diego graduates.  Our retail operation is located in the Scripps Ranch area of San Diego.  Posies Flowers has been a part of Scripps Ranch since 1980 and we have owned and operated Posies since 1990.
